The Fund Network

REALTOR®1 growth

As at September 30, 2007, the Fund Network was comprised of 289 independently owned and operated franchises operating from 594 locations serviced by 13,085 REALTORS®, with an approximate 20% share of the Canadian residential resale real estate market based on transactional dollar volume. The Fund added 546 REALTORS® organically during the first nine months of 2007.

With the acquisition on January 1, 2008 of franchise contracts representing 16 locations serviced by 212 REALTORS® that were vended into the Royal LePage network, and of franchise contracts representing 44 locations serviced by 1,060 REALTORS® that will continue to operate under the La Capitale Real Estate Network brand, the Fund began 2008 with approximately 14,400 REALTORS®, compared with 12,539 a year ago.

Network diversity

Network diversity for 2007 will be provided following release of year end results. As at December 31, 2006, the Fund Network was comprised of diverse operations as over 74% of the Fund’s franchisees, had fewer than 50 REALTORS®. In addition, the Fund Network of REALTORS® is geographically diverse with our REALTORS® spread throughout Canada on approximately the same basis as the overall Canadian REALTOR® population, as summarized in the chart below.
